initial design phases, photovoltaic solutions were integrated as organic
components of building prototypes. This implementation transforms concrete structures

Developed
in partnership with energy service providers, this 6,000+ square meter
photovoltaic array operates under "self-generation for self-consumption,
surplus grid feed-in" commercial model. With real-time solar tracking, the
system reduces Bafang’s annual electricity consumption by 900,000 kWh while
maintaining over 70% self-sufficiency even during winter months. These metrics
translate to eliminating 300 tons of standard coal combustion and 900 tons of
CO2 emissions annually - equivalent to the carbon sequestration capacity of
36,000 mature trees yearly.
This
energy calculus reveals dual virtues of economic efficiency and ecological
circularity. Beyond optimizing operational costs, the photovoltaic system
manifests tangible environmental commitment. While achieving energy
self-reliance, Bafang continuously feeds surplus solar power into public grids
- a "symbiotic energy economy" model converting corporate assets into
public community resources.
